I have watched this film repeat 5 times. Each time I have different find.
First time when I watched it I think it just a violent movie. When second time I watched I found that violence was different from other common violent movie.
It is cold “astheticization of violence”. “Astheticization of violence” is when a movie describes the violence in details and exaggerates the effect; audience will feel the violence is art just like dancing. The third time I found the most important element of this film, that is music. I have to say if kill bill without music it just a violent movie. Even me cannot image how awesome doing
Violence with different styles music is.
About the director
Quentin Tarantino is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer and actor. In the early 1990s he was an independent filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines and aestheticization of violence. His films include Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Four Rooms (1995), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill (2003–2004), Death Proof (2007) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). His films have earned him a variety of Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Palme d'Or Awards and he has been nominated for Emmy and Grammy Awards. In 2007, Total Film named him the 12th-greatest director of all time. Kill bill is a film full of his personal style. He put all the classical movie element he like into “kill bill”. He use these element to greet to the person who he respect.
About the scenario
Bride “black mamba”, I don’t know her name and whole film only one time she speak her name but her name is instead of Bleep, even me don’t know why.

She is a member of “Deadly Viper Assassination Squad”, other group members are:”copperhead, cottonmouth, siderwinder, california mountain snake”. The “snake charmer” is bill. Why she must to kill bill? I take this question start to see the movie. “Revenge is a dish best served cold-Old Klingon Proverb” the white sentence appears with black background at first minute. I also hear quick sound of a woman’s breathing.
Then I see a bleeding woman’s face, she is crying. A man use a handkerchief with word “bill” in the side to sweep her face, and say he didn’t sadistic in his actions. Now I know the man is bill and the woman want to kill him for revenge.
She beg bill “it is your baby”, but she get gunshot from left head. This is beginning.

Chapter 1: ②
Right, the name is number 2. Bride has note name”death list five”. Those are five enemies she would revenge to. We can see she had already finished first goal “cotton mouth”O-RenIshii. She starts her second goal”copperhead” Vernita Green. Chapter 1 costs 10 mins. She drives to the city of Pasadena, California. After doorbell ring bride hit Vernita in her face. Then they fight in the TV room and make the floor been covered with glass.
At the moment of Vernita’s daughter back home they stop fighting. Both of them hide knife behind just like nothing happened. This point shows kindness of bribe. She doesn’t want to make negative influence on the child. In the kitchen Vernita use the gun which hides in a oatmeal package to shot bride. Bride throw coffee cup to catch Vernita’s attention then quick throw knife to kill her.

“When engaged in combat the vanquishing of thine enemy can be the warrior’s only concern. Suppress all human emotions and compassion.” —Hattori Hanzo
Chapter 2: the blood-splattered bride
Back to four years ago, the bride’s families were killed by bill’s assassin group.
Bride was coma in hospital for four years. During the time, Elle Drive came to hospital and changed dress as nurse to kill the bride in her sleep. When she prepared to kill bride, bill called her to cancel the mission. Bill’s reason is doing these thing will lower them. If bride wakes up they will do whole lot to her. Four years later bride wakes up and she also remember everything: got a gunshot and lost of baby. A the moment Buck(employee in the hospital) take his customer come in the room. She kill the customer want to fuck her. After she kills Buck she take car key from Buck. Inside the car she spend 13 hours to recover her movement ability.

Chapter 3: the origin of O-Ren
O-ren was born on an American military base in Tokyo, Japan. She has half Japanese, half Chinese-American blood.

When she was nine she witnessed the death of her parents.

she took revenge when she was 11. All about O-ren’s past are use animation to present. The straight and stiff lines show violence and sadness of O-ren very well. Before 20 she became the top female assassin in the world.

Chapter 4: the man from OKINAWA
Bride flies to OKINAWA to look for Hattori Hanzo. She need a samurai sword to fight. Hanzo spends one month to make his best samurai sword for her and suggests her use the time to practice.

“I’ve completed doing what I swore oath to god, 28 year ago, to never do again.” ”I’ve created,“something that kills people. And in that purpose, I was success.” Han had retired for 28 years. He don’t want to make anything can hurt people.

“if on your journey, you should encounter God…Gog will be cut.” Shows how good the samurai sword is.

Chapter 5: showdown at house of blue leaves
One month later, bride flies to Tokyo to look for O-ren. O-ren become her first goal because she is the easiest to find. But when one manages the hard task of becoming queen of Tokyo’s underworld one doesn’t keep it a secret, dose one? O-ren’s understrapper include” Sofia Fatale, Go-Go Yubari, Johnny MO and crazy 88.” The night O-ren assumed power over the crime council, boss Tanaka against her because her blood and nationality issue. O-ren cut boss Tanake’s head immediate. This thing show her decisive and resolution. Bride is eavesdropping O-ren’s meeting. O-ren realized and throw a dart through the screen then call Go-Go go out to look. Bride hides at the top of roof. Bride hijack Sofia and shout:” O-ren Ishii, you and I have unfinished business!” at the hall of house of blue leaves. Bride cut Sofia’s left arm in front of O-ren.
Sofia bleeds like fountain and rolling on the floor with screaming. This violent scene lasts 9 seconds.

Bride VS Go-Go Yubari

One thing worth to mention is actions and weapon of Go-Go are all design by Quentin Tarantino. It is Quentin Tarantino first time try to design shot of action without refer other films by himself.

These two pictures show the most violent scene in this film. We can see first picture is black and white color and second picture is black shadow appear on the blue background. This is violence appear in simple color.

Last one of crazy 88 beg for her mercy. Then bride hit the man’s ass with samurai sword:” this is what you get for fucking around with the yakuzas. Go home to your mother!” This funny scene shows Quentin’s vulgar.
Bride VS O-renishii

Final battle is bride fight O-ren with samurai sword. Bride’s victory. O-ren says:” that really was a Hattori Hanzo sword.” This sentence means O-ren don’t admit she failure to bride. She admit she failure to a Hattori Hanzo sword.

Light and shadow

In the left of picture we can see a serious man who is thinking something, he is boss Tanaka. Next second he will strike the desk and against O-ren. The light shines his face let people feel frightened and let people think he will do something next second.
